PAC also supports local, state and national candidates who share the values of strong union representation and proven support for public education.

Hundreds upon hundreds of PFT members contribute to PAC—donations that help to inform and educate about the legislative issues vital to our causes, help to prepare and support every election, and provides support for individual candidates–representatives who are painstakingly vetted and shared by our PAC committee before any contributions are made.

PFT PAC Committee Members:

  • Attend a monthly meeting at the PFT
  • Have their voices heard at public meetings and rallies
  • Support candidates and causes personally through grass-roots action
  • Plan an annual who’s who PAC reception to cement community and elected official friendships & alliances
