At the 2019 AFTPA Convention in July, PFT Retiree Chapter President Pat Colangelo introduced a statewide Facebook page for all Pennsylvania AFT locals to utilize as a single source group to share information and news relevant to state AFT retirees.
“This is a simple and effective way for retiree chapters from across the state to stay in touch and share information,” Pat said. “If we all share a little more information—whether it’s about events, retiree news, legislation, or our grassroots efforts for the all-important upcoming Census and elections, this is another way for us to stay union strong and active well into our retirement.”
