Its integrated focus on academics, health and social services, youth and community development, and community engagement leads to improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities.<\/p>\n

The PFT\u2019s Community Schools (CS) Taskforce is a team of individuals active within our district\u2019s Community Schools (or schools that are becoming CS or interested in becoming CS<\/em>) who meet once a month to share current events and best practices affecting the day-to-day life of CS students and educators alike.<\/p>\n

Our current Community Schools are:
<\/strong>Arlington,\u00a0Arsenal,\u00a0Faison, King, Langley,\u00a0Lincoln,\u00a0University Prep and\u00a0Westinghouse.\u00a0<\/p>\n
